ENGINEERING PERFORMANCE WITHOUT LIMITS
ENGINEERING PERFORMANCE WITHOUT LIMITS
I am Trevor Gallant, a mechanical design engineer with a passion for motorsport and performance vehicles. My focus is suspension, vehicle dynamics, aerodynamics, and chassis design, with a keen interest in powertrain, combining CAD design, manufacturing, simulation, and data analysis to make cars faster, lighter, and more reliable. Whether designing, building, or testing, I thrive on engineering solutions that go fast, and on getting every detail right.
I have four years of full-time work experience: two years as a Mechanisms Design Engineer at Multimatic and five co-op placements during my undergraduate degree, alongside three seasons of Formula Student across two teams. These roles have taken me from test rigs and shop floors to design offices and trackside, sharpening my skills in CAD design, tolerance analysis, DFMEA, manufacturing, and data analysis, and giving me the chance to solve complex engineering problems in fast-paced environments. Along the way, they built my technical foundation and fueled my passion for motorsport engineering. Explore my experience to see how each role has shaped me as an engineer.
I have always been a creative person, working on personal projects from a young age. My work ranges from my MSc dissertation on a roll-heave decoupled suspension and Oxford Brookes coursework in vehicle dynamics, aerodynamics, lap time simulation, and composites, to my university capstone and personal builds like my racing simulator rig. Explore my work to see how I apply engineering principles to real-world challenges.
